Why is Citizenship important?

Citizenship helps young people to play an effective role in public life. They learn about rights, responsibilities, the law and democracy.
It encourages respect for people of all nationalities, religions and ethnic identities.

Citizenship aims to give young people a voice with which they can change their world in an appropriate way.

Giving Nation

Felicity Tyson of The Citizenship Foundation rang to interview Mr Cooper about the school's involvemnt in the Giving Nation scheme. She rang because she was impressed with our work and wanted to hear about what we had been doing and what we were learning from the experience.

Well done to everyone who has helped out with Giving Nation - staff and students and keep up the good work

Thank you Rob for such a great interview. You will be thrilled to hear that we have featured the interview and images displaying the wonderful work of the students and teachers at your school in the main article of this term's Giving Nation newsletter. The newsletter is distributed to 9000 UK schools and organisations, congratulations and many thanks!

Keep in touch and keep up the inspiring and excellent work!

All the best,
